A Message From Dr. Ellen
You may think that it is a little strange to find a website that has a
section on prayer when you are looking for help with your marriage. I
hope that I can convince you how important it is, not only for you
listen to my life-changing programs, but also for you to pray during
this difficult time and have as many other people pray for your marriage
as well.
That is exactly why I developed this part of my website. People from all
over the world will be praying for your marriage and any problems you
are having with your spouse. After you read what I have to say about the
importance of prayer, you can add your name, your spouses name and a
brief description of what you would like our prayers to help you
accomplish.
My own story
as a 3 time breast cancer survivor is a testament as to how powerful
collective prayer can be. I feel that prayer is one of the main reasons
I sailed through a bone marrow transplant 10 years ago and just recently
helped me through my latest battle, so that I could go back to doing
what I do best, helping people with their relationships and saving
marriages.
Because prayer has so deeply affected my life, I decided to have a place
on my website where you too could have thousands of people praying for
your marriage. Can you image how powerful that
will be for you and what it will mean for the future of families
everywhere?
When Dionne Warwick sang the words, "I say a little prayer for you" in her
1960's hit song, she probably didn't think that those words would become
the study of serious science. But increasingly, scientists are studying
the power of prayer and how it really does make a difference in healing.
Although most of us, who believe in the power of prayer, do not require
physical proof that it works, I still think that you'll still find it
interesting to read some of the scientific studies that have been done to prove that prayer can dramatically change
a person's life.
If you would like to be included in our prayers, simply click on the "Prayer Request" box below. Make sure you put in your real
first names and then a brief description of your situation. After all, if you are not truthful about who you are and do not have a
clear picture of what you want our Prayer Angels to pray for, then how can your prayers be answered? Please limit the length of your
request to a few lines.
It usually takes at least 24 hours to add your prayer to our
Prayer Request List, so please come back and make sure you have been included on the list.
Your prayers will be kept on our site for 60 days and then moved to an
archived file. If your prayers have been answered, I would love to hear
from you. Please email me at Prayers@lightyourfire.com and we will post your success on the site. For those of you, who do not think that God is answering your prayers, please click here on Unanswered Prayers to read an inspirational story of why that may be happening at
this point in your life.
I am hoping that many of you, who are making prayer requests, will also
become Prayer Angels and help others by praying for them. Prayer is a
pure and unselfish act that blesses those you pray for as well as
yourself. It unites us all at the deepest level.
It doesn't matter how much time you can devote to praying for the
requests on this site. Some of you can pray for a few minutes each day,
others can devote a few minutes each week. Regardless of the amount of
time that you are able to commit to, when you pray for a miracle in
someone else's life, you will become more aware of the many miracles in
your own life. A simple prayer that takes a few minutes of your time,
may alter someone's life forever. Luciano De Crescenzo, a Roman Poet,
once wrote, "We are each of us angels with only one wing and we can only
fly by embracing one another." Please join me in embracing all those

I am requesting a prayer for my love of my life. She is a victim of Abused Child Syndrome and was married to an abusive husband. Because of this, severe problems with menopause and horrible pressure from her mother she became someone totally different from the woman she was. She was so full of love and life and infinitely happy but she is now a different personality, vindictive, mean and cold. She is being controlled and manipulated by those with evil agendas who have ruined her life. Her son-in-law and ex-husband have paid to have an Obeah spell cast on her. The doctors have put her on Proazc and anti-anxiety pills which have radically changed her personality. For the past year she has been spiraling down mentally and morally and the harder I try to save her and comfort her the harder other people work to bring her down. She would rather have died than tell a lie and now lies and immorality rule her life. She attended church EVERY week and now she hasn’t been inside a church in 7 months. Please I ask you, I beg you to pray for her to return to the person she was, to return to the church and especially to return to the love and compassion we used to have as a couple. I beg you to pray in Jesus name for her to return to me where our love was pure, wholesome and unconditional. I ask you to pray for our love.
